We recently had the pleasure of working with a customer in Yorba Linda, California who needed to have some pipes replaced. The Problem
Mr. Nou’s house had been having some issues with noisy pipes and slab leaks. Slab leaks occur when the pipe underneath the concrete foundation of the house has a hole or crack in it, allowing water to leak out. This can result in water damage and significant repair costs if not taken care of quickly.
Our Solution
To take care of this problem, we decided to do a full repipe of the house using Pex piping. Pex is a type of plastic piping that is very durable and resistant to corrosion, which makes it an ideal choice for repiping projects. We also used special tools like cameras and tracer wires to make sure all the pipes were properly connected and sealed off from any potential leaks.
The Process
We began by removing all of the old piping and preparing the area for installation of the new pipes. Once everything was ready, we then installed all of the new Pex piping throughout the house using special connectors that are designed to provide a tight seal and prevent any future leaks or water damage. After installation was complete, we then tested all of the pipes using pressure gauges and cameras to make sure everything was functioning correctly.
The Results
Once all testing was finished and everything was up to code, we gave Mr. Nou back his home with brand new Pex piping that would last him for many years to come! The results were great; no more noisy pipes or slab leaks – just a home with no fear of water damage!
